	Puron, Carrier's name for the new refrigerant R-410A, is ideal because it does not contain the chlorine that causes the depletion of the ozone layer, and it is completely safe for technicians to work with. In fact, it has the highest possible A1/A1 safety rating by ASHRAE. Because of Mann-In, Inc.'s concerns with the environment, currently 70 percent of our installations use earth-friendly Puron refrigerant.
